Belle Haven Family Dentistry was founded in July 2020 by Dr. Sarah Kennealy. Although the office is new to the area, Dr. Kennealy is not! Her family has been a part of the Mt. Vernon/Ft. Hunt community since the 1960’s! Dr. Kennealy attended Mt. Vernon High School (which is also where she met her husband, Kevin). She graduated Cum Laude from Virginia Tech and earned her DDS degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2012.
After dental school Sarah and Kevin settled in Richmond, VA, where she joined a private practice and spent the next six years practicing there. In 2018 they decided they had been away long enough and moved back to NoVa. Dr. Kennealy has been practicing in Springfield, VA for the last two years. But she is excited to be returning to the heart of her community to serve their dental needs!
Dr. Kennealy is passionate about providing the best care to her patients, and it is important that her patients feel comfortable and relaxed through out the entire treatment process. She is trained in providing comprehensive dental care from simple to complex cases in patients of all ages. Dr. Kennealy believes strongly in self improvement and is always seeking CE to learn and grow as a dentist/business owner/person. She is very active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Northern Virginia Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.
In her free time Sarah, her husband Kevin, and their four children love to spend as much time as they can outside. Exploring and adventuring in Ft. Hunt park and along the GW parkway and in all the other wonderful parks and trails in this area!
